In 1971, James and Lee Craft founded Heritage Shutters with a simple vision: to create the highest-quality custom window treatments that Arizona homes truly deserve. Drawing on James' lifetime of experience crafting fine furniture and drapery, they began building beautiful plantation shutters right here in Arizona, and quickly became the state's oldest shutter company.

The family legacy continued in 1975 when their son Tim joined the business, learning the craft from the factory floor before moving into sales. In 1989, Tim and his wife Clare took over daily operations, guiding the company with the same dedication to excellence. Today, third-generation owner Dale Craft proudly carries that tradition forward.

For more than 55 years, Heritage Shutters has remained 100% family-owned and operated, Arizona's oldest shutter company. Every plantation shutter, wood blind, shade, and solar screen is still custom-built from scratch in Arizona using the finest hardwoods and premium finishes. We measure twice, cut once, and design each piece to add warmth, style, and real protection against the desert sun.
